Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these retreats for?

Burned-out founders, senior professionals, and small groups who want to step away from daily noise and reconnect with nature. You don’t need to be a wildlife expert — just curious and willing to slow down.

What’s included in the price?
  • Accommodation in a handpicked forest lodge
  • Jungle safaris in shared or private gypsies
  • Permit bookings and zone allocation
  • Airport / station transfers and on-ground coordination
  • Expert guides and drivers with you through the trip
How much does it cost?

All three retreats — Kanha, Tadoba and Panna — start at ₹15,000 per person per night. Final pricing depends on the lodge category, number of safaris, and group size.

When is the best time to visit?

Central Indian reserves are open from October to June. October–February is cool and green. March–June is hot but offers the highest tiger sighting probability as animals gather near water.

Can you guarantee tiger sightings?

No one can. We stack the odds in your favour — right zones, right lodges, experienced guides and drivers, and enough safaris across your stay. Tigers are wild, and that’s the point.

How many safaris will I get?

We typically plan two safaris a day — morning and afternoon. The exact number depends on your retreat length and the park’s rules.

How do I get to the reserves?

Nagpur is the closest major airport for Kanha and Tadoba. Khajuraho is closest for Panna. We’ll guide you on the best route based on where you’re flying in from.

Can you organise private or group retreats?

Yes. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or bringing a team of 8–10, we’ll plan it end-to-end. Corporate offsites in the forest are something we love doing.

Why book with The Nature Narratives instead of directly?

We live in Central India. We know the reserves, the lodges, and the guides and drivers personally. We don’t resell off a brochure — we plan every retreat ourselves and stay on call through your trip.

You get one person coordinating everything: stay, safaris, permits, transport and troubleshooting. That’s the difference between a good trip and a great one.
